Week 6

Week 6's theme is 'Words'. I thought about this for awhile, thinking I would do books stacked up or a note from my daughter but then I thought this would be much more fun!



I took these at the park at my daughter's school and thought it was kind of symbolic-ish that the theme is words and this is where my daughter learns. Kind of neat?

Week 5

This week's theme was "Muse," so I took a picture of my computer!  haha




Besides just LOVING my Mac, and spending quite a lot of time on it, just looking at the screen makes me feel creative. On my screen I put pictures that inspire me, projects I want to do, pictures of hairstyles I like, art, decorating ideas, clothes I like. Truly its my muse! :)

Week 4

So this week the theme was "soothing repetition" and even though my submission for last week was taken at the beach, I had to take pictures of the ocean again. At least it was a different beach right? :) I am obviously not that creative because I took the easy way out, I should have waited to get some inspiration from other people, who are coming up with such fun things and great photography (things like knitting and books stacked up and a pregnant woman's belly). Here's what I submitted though:

Week 3

Week 3's challenge was "Shades of Gray", I entered two pictures this week:






I don't edit a lot in black and white, so this really was a challenge for me. I guess I just enjoy vibrant color more, but of course there's always something to be said about good black and white! So good challenge for me this week!

Week 2

Here's my Week 2 for MCP's Challenge, the theme this week is "interpret a song", I decided on "Sugar, Sugar" by the Archies:

Photo Challenge

I started participating in MCP's Weekly Photo Challenge. Every week there's a new prompt of what to take a picture of that week. The first week was "around the house" and this is what I entered:




I'm excited to keep doing this throughout the year, the goal is to do some things I don't normally do, get my creativity flowing and whatnot. :)
