Week 50

This week's theme was: Festive Colors

The last four weeks or so the theme's have been very Christmas oriented. While I love Christmas, it has been hard to get a different feeling in the different pictures. I wanted to do one in front of the tree, so thats what I did this week.

Week 49

This week's theme was: Traditions

I took a few pictures of some of the decorations I like to put up every year, some of them have been going up for the last ten years. :)

Canon Lens Giveaway

Okay, I promised I was going to finish up the 52 Week Project strong, but I'm a loser. So here instead is a giveaway for the very lens I've been dreaming about!! I'm really hoping to pool the money I got for Christmas to get the next lens down, but golly if I could win this lens I would jump up and down, kiss random strangers, cry for a few days straight (extremely happy tears), be nicer to my children, my husband might even get lucky. SOooo I should win. For the children...

Here's the link to the Oh So Posh Photography giveaway. Except you don't want to enter, there's already a million entries... I mean, the odds are like one in a million ya know? ;)

Week 47

This week's theme was: Twinkle Twinkle

Obviously pretty much every picture submitted had to do with Christmas lights, and I was no exception! :) I missed doing a week or two for reasons I can't even remember now (I was busy? Had a lot going on? I was really sick? Who knows?) :) and just fell out of doing it altogether, now I'm trying to get back into it and finish up strong, and not just quit. Here's a few pictures I did for the "twinkle twinkle" theme:

The P Family

I've done a few family pictures lately getting ready for Christmas, I've done pictures for this family a few times and they're AWESOME! Their girls are always ready to smile for the camera, they could be mid sentence "I don't want to take any more pic--" *camera comes up* BIG smile. :) The location was in an old/historical part of town and I loved the brick and urban feel, later we came back and did some more pictures with a backdrop and some fun Christmas props. Really had a great time with them!
