Week 24

This week's theme is: Make it Tasty

I thought right away that I wanted to do a "splash" picture. Where you drop a cookie or something into a cup of some sort of liquid and catch the splash. I was really excited about it until I saw someone else had done a strawberry in milk, and it was GORGEOUS. I then thought about doing sprinkles on my lips, a picture I think I've seen on Facebook a bunch (haha!) but I really wanted to try the splash so I did! I wish I could have added this to the group on time but I've been having frozen computer problems, so too bad for me! :) Here's the one I submitted:

Week 23

This week's theme is: Enchantment

I wanted to do something really soft and ethereal, I kept picturing a crown like the one Max wears in "Where the Wild Things Are", I wanted to take a picture of my daughter all dressy with jewelry and sort of draw things on the picture. I haven't had a lot of experience drawing over my photos (just adding text), so I wasn't sure how to make it look good. The one I submitted didn't have any drawing, but I'll add some so you can kind of get an idea of what I was doing. :)

Week 22

This week's theme is: Reflection

I guess I was busy this week and it kind of snuck up on me, I thought about doing something with mirrors or a window or even a puddle or something, then yesterday when we were out playing my brother in law got the motorcycle out to drive to work and it was just too pretty not to take a couple pictures of! So this is what I submitted:

Week 21

This week's theme was: Need for Speed

I was thinking of catching the kids riding their bikes with hair streaking behind them, but it just didn't work out. I did get the kids outside twirling around and liked the effect--also if you do this prepare yourself for capturing some VERY funny faces! :)
