Baby M
I mentioned in my last post that I was supposed to go to the birth of my cousin's little boy, although that didn't work out (so sad), I did get to go take a few newborn shots of him a couple days ago. I LOVE newborns! I am hoping to go back and take a few more if mom's feeling up to it! :) I love that his parents had been saying how much he sleeps, just sleeps all day long, but when I get there he was awake almost the whole time! haha He was the sweetest little thing, and didn't even cry at all, just one little peep at the very end! :)

Week 20
This week's theme was: Spring Fever
My cousin's wife was scheduled to be induced this week and asked me to be at the birth to take some pictures. I was SO EXCITED! I knew it would be an amazing experience and so cool to get to be present for such a beautiful thing! She was being induced so I felt fairly confident that everything would work out alright, well, no such luck! :( After spending four or so hours with her I finally had to go home as it was almost one o'clock in the morning and no end in sight. :( He was born at 6 o'clock that morning and I wouldn't have been able to stay up all night and take care of my family the next day, besides my husband would have left for work at 7 and I wouldn't have had anyone there with my kids. I was so disappointed though, I thought it would have been so great to add a picture of that first moment into this world, the doctor holding the baby up for everyone to see. It was so stuck in my head for this week that when it didn't work out, I was a little stumped on what to do. Nothing seems to sound good with that idea suck in my head! :) I ended up taking this picture instead:
"Nothing says Spring Fever like bees out pollinating! :)"

Week 19
This week's theme is: Window Light
You'd think this would be easy, because pretty much ALL my pictures are taken with window light. Unless they're outside. But I mostly take pictures for this contest inside, so instead of helping me this week, it kind of left it wide open to do whatever the heck I could think of. I don't like to think of things on my own! hahaha I took some different pictures this week, and decided they wouldn't work because they were too similar to things I'd done recently (my son sleeping--just like last week, etc.), then on Sunday I got a little pansy plant for Mother's Day, and had it sitting in the window FINALLY getting some sunshine. So I took a picture of it:
I also thought about submitting this one because it just felt different than what I usually do, but I still liked the first one better:
Tell me what you think!

Week 18
This weeks theme is: First Thing in the Morning
I had gone to a beautiful garden and almost used a picture from there, but I added a flower picture last week and I was pretty much just being lazy. :) So finally I remembered to take a picture this morning, here's what I submitted:
First thing in the morning I roll over and see this sweet face. I'm a lucky woman to get to wake up to soft breathing, fuzzy hair, chubby fingers and the best baby smell in the world!
I wasn't sure which I liked better though, the one above or this one:
Which do you like better?
